Sarah & Kelvin - El Cortijo de los Caballos

Congratulations to Sarah and Kelvin who married at El Cortijo de los Caballos on 18th May.  Sarah was another of my long distance brides who had never been to view the Cortijo or meet me in person and took a huge leap of faith that we could deliver everything that her and Kelvin were dreaming of.  They wanted a relaxed day with fun, bright colours and a bit of a butterfly theme running through it.  So we chose very informal and bright country style flowers for the bouquets and large mason jars tied with bright ribbons and vintage butterfly tags for the centrepieces.  There was then a live butterfly reléase during the ceremony which was beautiful and led to the gardens being filled with butterflies for days :)  The pretty cake was made by the talented Fiona from SweetthingsbyFi and the delicious menú supplied by the Sana Catering team with mouth watering rack of lamb served as the main and the best strawberry and almond tart I have ever tasted. We kept the summer bright color scheme going with pretty cocktail of Berry Crush and Mojitos all of which were enjoyed whilst lounging on our Moroccan chill out área.  A wonderful day and we wish Sarah & Kelvin a fabulous future together x

Rachael & Christiaan - El Cortijo de los Caballos

Congratulations to Rachael & Christiaan who married at El Cortijo de los Caballos on 11th May in glorious sunshine.  Rachael was one of my many long distance brides this year who have never travelled over to Spain to see the venue or meet me.  Very trusting these ladies are and not something I think I could ever do.  Rachael knew she wanted something bright, pretty and fun so we chose stunning florals in coral pink peonies and roses to accent the coral bridesmaid dresses with informal mixed vase centrepieces to give a relaxed yet elegant feel to the tables.  We then added a moroccan chill out área with shisha pipes and our fun and ever so slightly lethal Tequila bar for the evening party.  Both of which went down a storm :)
